A Second Look
My feature film "A Second Look" is the result of a year-long Honors Advanced Broadcast course during my undergraduate studies at NYU. As one of the select few high-achieving seniors in the Journalism major, I was able to create a full-length documentary that was screened for friends, family, professors, and peers.

The course was divided into two semesters, with the first focusing on in-depth research and getting to know the characters. This resulted in a trailer/sizzle reel and a written treatment/proposal for the film, which included archival footage and materials provided by various sources.

The second semester was devoted to the production and post-production of the film, which included travel to events, interviews, storyboarding, scripting, editing, directing, hiring actors and voice-over personnel, and various post-production work.

I was awarded a DURF research grant of $1000 for this project, which I presented at the annual CAS Undergraduate Research Conference as a Presidential Honors Scholar.

Now, "A Second Look" is being screened at community events throughout New York state, most recently as the closing event for the From Love exhibition at the Bethany Arts Community Gallery.
